It wasn't at all easy to get up and go to work at six, or a little after, this morning but it had to be done.
It looked at times as if the weather would clear up but we had some showers and it was real foggy & misty at night.
After Sr. Choir Practice this evening, Jane & I walked in to a surprise shower at her home. I knew but she scarcely suspected anything.
Jane's friends certainly think a lot of her, maybe me too, for they certainly bought us wonderful shower gifts. I prolonged the night with a date & got home at three, about.
The wedding shower was covered in the local paper (see scan).
