Quietly and quickly I arose and answered the tinkling of the alarm clock. Short & Harry were in the other bed in my room and the Professor was in Harry's room.

I had to wait for breakfast and was early to the mill. I spent a good deal of the day putting new bushings in the flour packer & I taught Groffie to pack flour.

It rained from dawn to dark. The trucks weren't very busy.

After supper Harry went to Scout. I took Jane to church. Rev. Davies preached. Mary Jane & her mother are off the sick list & back in the choir. Short stayed home to study.
