We awoke before the sunrise and, Lo! it was nearly time to get up. And so that goes to show you that Autumn is creeping upon us and the furnace must be cleaned and the coal bin filled.
Business was good today and we just barely missed getting buried in work. It was hot today again but fairly humid so that the air was fresh.
I was late getting home but not late for supper. After supper I got my hair cut. When I got home - John C. Appel was here and we had a very nice visit. Nancy was here but she left shortly. I was sorry. Now it's bedtime again.
